HOW TO GET RID OF AN OLD COUCH
You bought a new couch. Maybe you're moving, downsizing, cleaning out a basement, or simply ready to get rid of old furniture.
So, how do you get rid of an old couch in the Lehigh Valley?
Here are your main options, including bulk pickup, donation, landfill disposal, and junk removal — plus what each option may cost.
1. Check Your Municipal Bulk Pickup
Many municipalities in the Lehigh Valley offer some type of bulk-item collection for furniture.
Depending on where you live, you may receive regular bulk pickup, scheduled bulk-collection weeks, or the option to purchase a bulk-item tag.
Some services are included with residential trash collection, while others charge an additional diposal fee.
